The Ilana Goor Museum is thrilled to invite all music, art and culture lovers to a special concert “Painting Baroque” of “The Nightingale and the Rose” Trio and live painting perfomance of the artist Masha Orlovich. The concert will take place on Thursday, April 18th, at 19:00.

The idea to combine music and painting comes from Baroque epoch. Then at royal courts artists were exposed one to another’s arts: musicians played music while painters were painting them, painters were making portraits of royal families that were entertained at the same time by musicians. Baroque trio “The Nightingale and the Rose” and Israeli-Russian painter Masha Orlovich took this idea and adjusted it to modern time concert setting while musicians play their music to public at concert and the artist draws their portraits.
