In our family there\u2019s Ilana Goor, wife, mother,<br \/>\nand grandmother.<br \/>\nAs a youngster, she wasn\u2019t outstanding as a student. Far from outstanding<br \/>\nand not a student learning lessons in a public school. Her lessons were<br \/>\nprivate&#8230; learning was difficult. Ilana was dyslexic. That was long before<br \/>\nteachers and parents understood the word. Falling behind all the others<br \/>\nin the learning process, Ilana never felt inferior. But definitely different.<br \/>\nAlone in thoughts, but Ilana was never alone. Born beautiful and athletic,<br \/>\nshe had plenty of playmates&#8230; all boys.<br \/>\nWith her mother gone at the age of eight, and her father away from<br \/>\nIsrael living in Asia working for the World Health Organization, Ilana,<br \/>\nundisciplined barely graduated High School and without guidance<br \/>\nenrolled in Bezalel Art School yet rarely attended.
