On January, the 12th, the Ilana Goor Museum in Old Jaffa invites you to a special jazz concert of DARYA Duo. Darya Mosenzon is a Tel Aviv-based pianist specializing in North African music. She’ll perform together with the percussionist Matan Caspi. We will start the evening with guided tours through the museum in Hebrew and Russian and with a glass of hot homemade sangria.
19:00 – doors open, and guided tours through the museum in Hebrew and Russian
20:00-21:00 – Performance at the main hall of the museum

Darya Mosenzon – piano, composition and arrangements
Matan Caspi – percussion
Darya Mosenzon began playing the piano and composing at a young age and studied classical music throughout her childhood, but was drawn since adolescence to other genres of music as well, culminating in her choice to pursue Andalusian, Moroccan and Algerian music.
Darya performs solo piano shows, as well as collaborations with prominent artists in the North African music genres, among them Raymonde el Bidaouia, Elad Levi and Lala Tamar. She has performed in festivals and venues throughout Israel, among them Mekudeshet, InDnegev, Jerusalem International Oud Festival and the Polish Jazz Festival, Tel Aviv. She has also performed abroad at the Moroccan Festival Des Andalousies Atlantiques in 2018 and 2019 and has toured and recorded with Andalucious, Tarab Jerusalem, the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra and Jerusalem Orchestra East and West.
