Yogev Shetrit Trio

Yogev Shetrit – drummer, composer, and graduate of the Hebrew University’s Musicology Department. Since 2016, the trio has performed in more than 30 countries, appearing at renowned festivals and venues including the prestigious Panama Jazz Festival and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., one of the leading performing arts venues in the United States. The trio has released two studio albums and two live albums and is currently working on a new release.

Standards on the Move
Arrangements of jazz standards in a variety of rhythms — African, Latin, Mediterranean, as well as unconventional time signatures.
Keys, bass and drums come together in an eclectic performance by a mature, energetic and fresh ensemble.
The trio is led by pianist Gilad Hatzav, a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music. He has released three albums and regularly performs with jazz and original music ensembles in Israel and around the world.
