The virtuoso pianist Uri Gincel is one of the most sought-after and fascinating pianists on Berlin’s jazz scene. His style is rooted and traditional, yet touches on contemporary worlds with sensitivity and intelligence. His playing is dynamic, lyrical, and full of energy and power.
He began his musical path studying under Arnie Lawrence, one of the founders of the New School in New York, and received a scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. Gincel is known for his ability to bring young audiences closer to live jazz and to build bridges between electronic clubs and the acoustic stage. In recent years, he has performed around the world and continues to shape the face of Berlin’s jazz scene.

The film “Ilana Goor: A Woman Against the Wind” is launching a special screening tour in cinemas.
After participating in the EPOS Film Festival and receiving wide acclaim, Tomer Heymann’s documentary is now reaching the general public, offering a rare glimpse into the world of Ilana Goor.
