Two opposing forces guide the ‘Heaven & Earth’ exhibition: one material and the other spiritual. The exhibition situates itself on the thin line between gravity and weightlessness, between sorrow and relief, between the heavy, earthy sediment and the ephemeral that lacks weight or volume and is therefore transcendental. In juxtaposing material and spiritual aspects of art, the exhibition attempt to contain these two opposing poles; to break through the boundaries of the medium and ascend.
