On Thursday, July 28th, the Ilana Goor Museum in Old Jaffa invites you to a Blues & Country concert by Dov Hammer and Assaf Rozov. Originally from Chicago, USA, Dov Hammer currently lives in Tel Aviv. Over the years he has recorded 9 albums of original Blues, under his own name as well as with the various bands he has led like the Blues Rebels. He has staged with many great American Blues artists, such as Joe Louis Walker, Lucky Peterson and many others. Hammer has performed across the US, Europe and Israel in clubs, halls and major festivals.
Together with the guitarist and singer Assaf Rozov, Dov Hamer will present you with a special country and blues show of the kind that can only be seen in places like Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans – a blues celebration that will shake your soul and make your body dance. The show combines songs from the Chicago Blues classics, original songs and other surprises.
Special guest – Ori Beanstock (lap steel guitar).
