Blues concert by Dov Hammer’s Power Blues band!
The concert will take place at our rooftop sculpture garden on May 24th, Thursday at 20:00.
Originally from Chicago, USA, Dov Hammer currently lives in Tel Aviv. Over the years he has recorded 8 albums of original Blues, under his own name as well as with the various bands he has led like the Blues Rebels. He has staged with many great American Blues artists, such as Joe Louis Walker, Lucky Peterson and many others.
Dov Hammer (vocals and harmonica) will perform with the Power Blues quartet together with Gil Katzir and Yair Fine (guitars) and Tzafrir Lichtenstein (drums). The band plays authentic blues from Mississippi and Chicago that bring unique and vibrant flavour to songs by artists such as Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed and many others.
