On Thursday, June 30th, the Ilana Goor Museum in Old Jaffa is happy to host Selah Collective performing original Mediterranean jazz infused with authentic flavors from all over the world. The Collective combines Israeli roots & local influences with the sounds of African, Latin and classical music. Musical influences of the band include Avishai Cohen, Ibrahim Maalouf, Snarky Puppy and more. Selah Collective is constantly playing across the country in various venues, featuring musical guests from the local and international scenes.

The group was founded in 2009 by Slava Shoolman & Daniel Rososki and has been playing with the current personnel since late 2016. Previous notable appearances of the Collective include Kaunas Jazz Festival (2019), as well as multiple participations in the “Divercities” festival (2018) in Grenoble, France. The first official release ‘Belonging’ was released in 2019. Band’s plans for 2022 include the release of their 2nd album “Eastern Pulse”, as well as appearances on several European festivals.
