International House Museum Day 2026
$16 – $24
April 18–19
Hundreds of museums that are also homes around the world will open their doors.
This year, the Ilana Goor Museum has also been selected to take part in this special international event.
From small private homes to historic mansions, from the houses of artists, writers, and collectors to family homes that have become museums—the event showcases the unique character of homes that are also museums.
From Frida Kahlo’s home in Mexico City to Leo Tolstoy’s house in Yasnaya Polyana, historic homes around the world offer a glimpse into the lives of creators through the places where they lived and worked.
At the Ilana Goor Museum, this idea finds an exceptional expression: it is a home that is a living museum, where creation and collecting continue to evolve and change over time.
Guided tours will be held to mark the event and will include the story of Ilana Goor, the history of the building, and the collections on display.
