Uriel Herman is a gifted jazz pianist and composer who has performed around the world both with his musical ensemble and as a soloist. His compositions are influenced by his classical training as well as Middle Eastern musical elements.
In the summer of 2023, he released his third solo album, titled “Different Eyes.”
Different Eyes is an intimate portrait that begins in the streets of his childhood in Jerusalem and journeys through lullabies he sings to his son.
The album was ranked fifth on The Guardian’s list of the “Top 10 Jazz Albums of 2023.”
Over the past decade, Uriel has been performing non-stop, either with his band or as a soloist, on the world’s biggest stages and at leading festivals.
