Born in Saint Petersburg and raised in an environment rich in styles and influences from different cultures.
Composer and pianist Alexei Orelovich is known for his mesmerizing, meditative playing style that combines freedom, improvisation, and soul with a sense of simplicity and truth.

In his performance, he will present a program of free improvisations, folk jazz, Baroque era polyphony, and jazz melodies.

About his music, he says: “Improvisation is a process of reflection and exploration – a response to the given moment. It touches the heart and invites the listener to discover something new together with me.”

Now living and creating in Israel, the local jazz scene serves as a source of inspiration for him, and he is finally playing his own music in a place where he feels most at home.
