On July 8th, the Ilana Goor Museum invites you to a special evening, full of charm and fun, rhythm and richness of sounds, and the wonderful voice of the singer Revital Raviv, accompanied by the Ari Erev Jazz trio, presenting Hollywood Classics – the songs of George Gershwin, Kurt Weil, Antonio Carlos Jobs and many others. These songs were highly appreciated by such singers as Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Doris Day – and also Astrod Gilberto and Luis Armstrong, thus defining the American songbook sound. The program features songs such as: “Dream of a Little Dream” and “Quiet Nights” by Jobim, “Sounds of Music”, “A Foggy Day in London Town” by Gershwin, as well as “Ka Sera Sera” sung by Doris Day in Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Man Who Knew Too Much”.
